We will cover the fundamentals of belly dance movement through Salimpour Vocabulary steps. ALL LEVELS are welcome; beginners and advanced dancers. We will explore step origins, historical context, finger cymbals, stylization and applications while working with Jamila's method of musicality in improvisation and Suhaila's phrasing and "threading" concepts within the vocabulary.
